Dinner at O'hana or 1900?

So, the way all of our reservations and timing is lining up, we can have dinner at one or the other of these on our upcoming stay(my daughter really wants to try the Luau, so we will be doing that one of the nights and dropping one of the reservations). I also already have a breakfast booked for each place. So, as far as dinner, do you prefer O'hana or 1900 Park Fare?

If you're doing the luau, I'd do 1900PF because the theming is more unique.

Ohana is my absolute favorite and I'm very sad we didn't do it last time ! But 1900 has The character interaction in the stepsisters are hysterical ..
I would say if you're going for food and unique pick Ohana . But if you want to see two different hotels and have a lot of laughs go to 1900 .

Based on food alone, I'd choose 'Ohana, although as noted above you already have plans to experience dining at the Polynesian via the luau; not sure how big a factor that might for you to vary your location/experience.

My logic process is really "luau = campy Polynesian themed" and "Ohana = campy Polynesian themed." While the food is different, the theming is Polynesian camp.

The move to 1900PF is a bit more "Victorian elegance" with the antics of the step-sisters.

Campy Polynesian isn't all that unique to WDW, whereas the stepsisters are.

I love O'hana, but if you are doing the luau, I would do 1900.

It is actually 'Ohana, a polynesian restaurant, not O'hana, an Irish one!

I do definitely understand why people are voting for 1900 PF since you're already doing the luau - there's no denying that the theming of 'Ohana and the luau are both the same. I just have a hard time saying no to 'Ohana...based on food, I would vote for this by far. We really love it.

This is very tough... The food at Ohana is better but the character interaction at 1900 is priceless. The stepmother was absolutely hilarious!! And the food was good too! We are doing both again this year

The luau is worth doing at least once, but the dinner food at Ohana is about 900 times better.

Everything--the food, atmosphere, characters, etc.--for breakfast at 1900 PF is way above the breakfast at Ohana. Not by 900 times though.

I'd defnitely go with 'Ohana. (But keep in mind I really don't care about character interaction at this point)

Thank you for all of the helpful opinions! Since I've heard negative things about the luau, maybe I can talk her out of that and just keep both haha. But, if she REALLY wants to do it, I will just have to make a decision!
