We need a place to eat at Magic Kingdom.

We have only eaten at Crystal Place for breakfast and it was fine but we thought we would try another restaurant that we have never been to if it was better than CP. We are not super picky but I don't want to waste a TS meal on a bad restaurant.

This will be extra magic hours at MK from 11-2. I would like to eat around 8:00-8:30 PM and then to go to MK for some late night fun.

Dad/mom/DS 10/DS 8

Thanks

I really enjoyed The Plaza when we were there in 2009. The food was good and hot and I liked the small restuarant feel.

I have been to the Liberty Tree Tavern, Tony's Town Square and The Plaza for either lunch or dinner. Personally my favorite one was Liberty Tree Tavern and that's what I would recommend.

Oh geez! lol...They are all good!

My opinion: Don't waste a table service on The Plaza. It's cheap enough to pay cash.

LTT - Good but...no characters anymore, no menu choices. You get the pilgrims feast...like it or not.

Tony's - Good food. This would have to be my 2nd choice for you.

1st choice would be dinner @ Crystal Palace. Characters, variety of food. We eat here everytime we go to WDW. My Daughters (11 & 12) can always find something to eat. And we, husband and I, are full, maybe too full, when we leave.

Good luck choosing!

LTT menu is not appealing to me although many have said its good food.

CP is well rated but our kids are too old for characters and thats what you pay for. Great place if you have kids.

Plaza has good food but as already said, its cheap enough to pay cash and use your TS credit elsewhere.

Tony's has always had very good food and sevice is excellent. Our kids are picky and didn't like anything on the menu. No problem! Waitress asked them what they liked and made some pasta dishes just to their liking.

If at MK for the day you can also eat at Ohana or Kona as its a very short boat or monorail back and forth to Polynesian. Both restaurants are excellent and better than anything at MK.

I would go with Tony's. We prefer CP for breakfast and I'm not a huge fan of buffets anyway. I would agree that while The Plaza is good, I wouldn't waste a TS credit on it. And the food at LTT is good if you want the family style meal but it isn't the same since they took away the characters. Most of our family had steaks at Tony's and they were good. The service was excellent and they kept the bread coming for our three boys.

I am probably in the minority but I like the dinner at LTT. It isn't fine dining but I thought it was good comfort food. I also like family style dining.

we enjoy liberty tree and have dinner there every trip

We eat at Liberty Tree every year and always enjoy it. With regard to CP, breakfast is good, but we don't like dinner there. And, in all our years of going to WDW, we've never eaten at Tony's, but may try there this trip.

All are good...but for reasons previously posted, I would recommend Tony's. If you make your ADR's for 8:30 and ask to sit on the patio (weather permitting), you can watch the night parade while you dine. We did this on our last trip and was enjoying our dessert/coffee while watching the parade. It was a perfect way to view! :goodvibes

crystal palace dinner is GREAT!!! it's my favorite character meal of all... if you don't want to go there then the next best restaurant is Tony's. LTT was ok, not a fan of the food choice, and I have never been to the plaza (menu doesnt appeal to me)

LTT and Plaza have been the most pleasant surprises for me at MK. I love the damily style Thanksgiving feast at LTT with turkey, roast port and roast beef. Dressing, mac'ncheese, mashed potatoes and green beans were all good. And the reuben at the Plaza was the best I've ever had. We did pay oop there. I've been to CP twice for dinner and, while not bad, it was disappointing when compared to other buffets in choices and both times, items got low and were not refilled.

I was going to suggest this too. I've had CP for lunch and it was yummy, but I say head to the Poly for some yummy food there.
