Dinner at Epcot-Help

We cannot decide where to eat dinner at Epcot and I'm worried that I need to call ahead for PS. We will be there Feb.22. Can we just walk in to any restaurant that we decide on and be seated or should we call ahead?

Le Cellier is a fantastic choice. For dinner you may need a PS because they do get very busy and it is small restaurant.

Restaurant Akershus in Norway is a real good option for dinner if you don't have a PS. They usually have tables available and the food is very good.

I will be going a week before you and don't think I will need any PS for this time a year. Unless you are planning on the Princess Storybook or Cinderella's Breakfast. Have Fun

Epcot is the Best place to have a great Disney meal. I would recommend the Nine Dragons if you wanna try your old chinese favorites made by a great chef. I've never had a a General Tso's Chicken melt in my mouth like that. Yummie!!!!

On my next trip, I already have PS at Nine Dragons and Teppanyaki Dining Room. Thinking about taking in a lunch at Restaurant Akershus or Beirgarten.

Definately make PS, you may have to wait a few hours for seating otherwise.

We just got back and found that there were some pretty long waits, when we showed up at the more popular restaurants, but we also did not make any PS's from home.......

We had some good luck by calling for a PS on the day before.....IE, I called on Thursday afternoon for a PS at CRT for 6;30 on Friday nite and was able to get it..................Point being, I wouldn't worry about it too far in advance for this time of the year, but a day or two in advance should be a safe bet for any of the Epcot restaurants..................

For dining choices in Epcot we recommend both Le Cellier and Teppanyaki depending on your food tastes. As far as making a p.s. I would to be on the safe side. (I'm not sure what week but don't some schools in certain areas of the country have a school vacation sometime in Feb.? We don't here so I don't know which week it is but it could add to crowds) Since you aren't talking about breakfast at Cindy's castle, you won't have to give a credit card deposit or anything so you don't HAVE to use your p.s. if you change your mind. So, I'd make it and then see how things go and decide that day whether to keep it or not. Have fun!

I have eaten in just about every restaraunt in EPCOT!!! We will be going march 21-26,2004. This is the peak season for our trip so I booked all of our meals a few days ago and believe it or not I could NOT get the excact times I wanted .They're already getting booked for the prime times in the popular places to eat. If I were you I would reserve ASAP!! You will be sooooooooo glad you did!
I like all the restaraunts, I'd say just pick a favorite quisine and go for it.

Ok, thanks to all of you and your great advice we have decided on Le Cellier. I have heard it mentioned more than any other so tomorrow I will be calling for PS. Thank you all. I'm so glad I found this forum!
