I have a 6:00 PM reservation booked for an Epcot restaurant on the day we're expecting to go to MGM studios, Monday.
Maybe we should just to Epcot on Monday and MGM on Sunday, the day our dinner isn't until 7:05 at Narcoossee's?? Does that sounds like the smarter thing to do? :confused3 (I can't keep straight what the Touring Plan suggests and what we already have booked for dinners!)
It's all good though, we're leaving in less than 2 weeks!!! :goodvibes :cool1:

I think that works fine. I would plan to get everything done at MGM you want to do before leaving for your dinner reservation (shouldn't be that hard at that park) - take the boat to Epcot so you can rest a little before dinner. The walk isn't bad, it's just more comfortable to sit on the boat =)

Then I'd just stay at Epcot afterwards.

Just where in MGM do you catch the boat for EPCOT? And vice versa? :confused3

Yes take the boat. Nice relaxing ride.
You will get the boat at the international gateway at Epcot and at MGM just follow the signs going down to the water.

I think it will be fine. I agree take the boat to Epcot.

The boat launch is outside the turnstyles down to the left (opposite of the buses). It makes brief stops at Boardwalk and BeachClub.

I wouldn't leave one park to eat in another. It is a lot of wasted time, IMO. Eat in DS/MGM when you're there and eat in Epcot when you're in Epcot. That's my advice. :)

If you do MGM during the day, then as suggested by many of the posters take the ferry from MGM to EPCOT, enjoy a relaxing dinner then grab a bench and watch Illuminations at EPCOT.

This of course is easier if you dont have a car at MGM, if you do then you might want to take your car over to EPCOT (you do not have to pay for parking again).

If you are using WDW Transportation then at the end of the night you can just take the EPCOT bus back to your resort.

By the way where are you eating?

WE're eating at the new Italian Restaurant Tutto Italia.
Thanks for the great advice everyone, we're leaving in 5 days!! OH YEAH OH YEAH!!

If you aren't interested in staying for Fantasmic, MGM to Epcot sounds like a great plan. We always hop somewhere else for dinner on our MGM day, because we just aren't thrilled with the dining options there, and we've never had a hard time seeing what we want to see in plenty of time to leave for dinner. The boat to Epcot is really nice, and assuming your dinner ADR is in the World Showcase, it drops you off in the perfect place.

Sounds fine to me! We don't spend a whole day at MGM. When you leave MGM, after you pass security, bear left. This takes you to the boat launch.

The boat stops at the Swan/Dolphin, then the BC/YC, then BW then to Epcot. The whole ride is about 20-30 minutes. If the boat is not there, when you get there, you may have a wait up to 20 minutes (if you just missed the boat).

Once you get to Epcot, you are at the International Gateway entrance between England and the bridge to France. Turn right, Italy is after France, Morocco, Japan, and AMerica.

I would budget an hour to get to Tutto Italia from MGM. It is a nice ride though and a chance to recharge a bit before your next adventure.

Have fun!:cool1:

It's what I always do on my MGM day. Works out great.
