Dinner at Disney Springs after day at AK- how to get there.

I wonder if you were lucky, or I was unlucky.
When we were at Boardwalk, over a year ago, buses to DS were infrequent. When they came, it would then go to Dolphin, Swan, Yacht club, and beach club. We could have walked to DS much quicker (is that walk even possible?).
That doesn't sound like a normal route. Perhaps the water bridge was closed for refurbishment, forcing a temporary route change. And no, you can't walk from BW to DS.

When I stayed at BWV in 2019, it was all 5 resorts. But with the limited seating, I don’t know how they could do that now.

Yeah, that's not uncommon during the day, but BW was usually the last stop, not the 1st.

Plus, aren't the Swan and Dolphin not using Disney buses anymore? Or did that change back?

Does that mean they are dropping you off at the TTC instead? I supposed that's not the end of the world.

Sometimes around marathon season, all the early MK buses will be diverted to the TTC. I can remember once instance where we were diverted, no bid deal, but it took so long to get the huge crowds across the lake, by the time we got to the MK gate, the buses were no longer diverted. So much for getting up early!

Anyway, last January, the DS bus was doing all 5 resorts, BW first, whenever we used it. But sounds like that is no longer the case

Correct, Swan and Dolphin are no longer using Disney buses to any of the parks, rather they are using larger charter-style buses. And yes, when going to MK the drop off/pick up point is the TTC.
