We're going to Disney World in March. I booked a dinner slot at Be Our Guest several months ago at 7:20, not realizing the fireworks show is at 8pm. If we come in ready to order, do you think there's anyway we could be done by 8? I don't want to have to rush through it, but we're going for my daughter's 13 birthday, and I know she will be bummed if we miss fireworks at MK. She's only been once before and really loved them. And of course there are no other reservations there available now.

Keep checking to change your reservation time. There are cancellations all the time, especially at 30 day (packages must be cancelled), 5 days out and 24\36 hours out (no show\cancellation fee of $10 per person charged, if not cancelled).

there is absolutely no way, you can possibly make fireworks, even if they are scheduled for 10 p.m. (Sometimes park hours are extended). Be Our Guest is one restaurant that allows you to check in 15 minutes, before reservation. It has always been our experience that unless you have one of the first reservations on a given day, they are running late. It is a thr ee course meal and will easily take 60-90 minutes to eat. (Can actually be 2+ hours).e

Guests begin finding "good" spots for firework viewing and castle projection show (two plus hours before). I would recommend at least a wait time of 30-45 minutes for fireworks.

We went in November for our first time. We were expecting a longish wait because of the crowds around us, but hadn't even found a place to poke around to keep the kids busy, when we got called to our table. So miracles can happen. With that said we were still in there a solid hour-fifteen or more at the table. I would say on the 'more' side. The appetizer and dinner were around 30 minutes each. The dessert portion less so. Even after consuming the grey stuff (it's delicious), you get approached about coffee. Then you wrap it all up and wait for the check.

And if in such a rush, you'd miss the little self-guided walking tour the CMs wish you to make and visit the other parts of Beast's castle. You then also miss meeting him and getting photos.

The entire experience, to include the checking out the other rooms and photos, was 90 minutes easy.

Ive had maybe an hour and a half experience for dinner there the last time we ate there. Most of the food is a standard menu so the food comes out pretty quickly but it such a busy restaurant that the crowds so it down.

We waited 20-30 minutes just to meet the Beast after dinner this week.

I think you need to decide what is more important, the meal or the fireworks. This is an expensive meal to "eat and run" even if you could make both events happen. I would book a late lunch so you can see the Castle, adn then keep checking to change the ADR time to an earlier dinner.

Agree with others you can’t make it to fireworks with that reservation time. Plus you shouldn’t try. The best thing about BOG is the immersive theming. Take your time. Explore. Take it all in.

I would keep looking for an earlier reservation. You will need to be out of BOG by 7:30 pm at the absolute latest to find a good spot for 8 pm fireworks, so a BOG at 6 pm or, ideally, earlier, would fit the bill. If fireworks are your DD's priority, I would seriously consider doing a fireworks dessert party instead (or in addition if you get an earlier BOG time). Perhaps try for a BOG lunch with a fireworks party?

I agree that it is an expensive meal to try to eat in 45 and cut out..,if I’m paying 60 a person I’m going to take my time :)

I had a 600, got seated at 630ish. Out the door at 830, after looking around and meeting the beast.

BOG dinner for us has been a 90 minute meal, so you won't be out in 40 minutes for fireworks. Try to switch to a time no later than 6pm.

Thanks everyone! I’ve been checking several times a day and just saw a spot open up for after the fireworks during EMH, so we’re safe! Birthday fireworks and dinner saved! Lol
