Dinner and Pirates...

Hi! This is my first time on the board! My name is Jodie btw. My boyfriend and I are planning an anniversary trip to Disneyland in the next few weeks and would like to go for a special dinner. Does anyone know about the resturant in the priates of the carribean ride? It looks so romantic! How is it? Any input would be great! Thank You!

You may be thinking about the San Angel Inn, which in the Mexico pavillion at Epcot. The indoor boat ride at the pavillion goes by the restaurant. There is no restaurant in the POC ride at MK.....sorry, although it would be a nice idea

I believe the restuarant you are referring to is the Blue Bayou and you should definitely make ressies if possible. You may get better answers on the Disneyland board too! Does anyone have a number for DL dining?

a few weeks ago, and I would advise you to definitely make ressies.
I had called 60 days ahead and I was thankful I did because the
day we were there (for lunch) they were announcing all ressies were
taken for the day, in fact, for the next several days. Now, this was in
the summertime, so maybe during other times it isn't as full.
We loved it - I had to have the famous Monte Cristo sandwich and it
was great. Everyone loved their meals. I wish WDW had such a restaurant.

Love the Blue Bayou at Disneyland! It is very romantic although pretty dark which makes reading the menu rather difficult.

Well that's just great - now I have to go to Disneyland!!! I didn't know such a restaurant existed! My dd would love it! I guess I'll have to start researching DL now too and start planning!
