Dinner and Fantasmic packages?

I seem to remember reading a year and a bit ago about booking at a dinner at MGM (studios) and then having seating for Fantasmic...is this option still available for May 2008 ? how does it work?

If memory serves, you can book at Brown Derby, Mama Melroses, Sci-Fi Dine in, 50's Prime Time Cafe and Hollywood and Vine. Dinner, I'm pretty sure, is anything after 3:30pm.

Nope, just Brown Derby, Mama Melroses, and Hollywood and Vine. We used it at the Hollywood and Vine this past summer. Basically after the meal, we were given a voucher (a bit larger than a big index card) that told us what time to report to Oscar's Gas Station (near the entrance) in order to get decent seats at the show.

We showed up about 45 minutes before the show started and got pretty good seats. They section off the right side of the theater just for F!DP people, so if you want the center seats, you won't get them from the dining package. It did help in a busy time so that we didn't have to line up 2 hours in advance.

We booked it yesterday for Hollywood and Vine.
