OK...
We are going to be at WDW mid march for 4 nights.
I have one PS made for dinner. San Angel Inn- we love authentic mexican- and this is the one place DH insisted we go there!

In an effort to avoid eating late and having long waits- I decided to go forth and make 3 more PS's! I can cancel or reschedule if needed!

Here's what our schedule looks like- would anyone care to give us any lunch or dinner suggestions??? I'm sure we'll eat at Whispering Canyon at some point!

Weds- arrive at 12:30 at WL concierge. Check in- head to MGM
Lunch? Dinner?
Thurs- concierge breakfast- head to MK- lunch? (maybe Liberty Tavern- should I make a PS?) Dinner?
Fri- breakfast PS at Chef Mickeys- Epcot- light lunch- Dinner PS at San Angel
Sat- concierge breakfast- AK- lunch PS at Rainforest Cafe- Dinner?
Sun- concierge breakfast- head home:(

Thanks!!!

For MGM I like sci-fi dine in and 50's primetime cafe. My dd [who is a toddler] enjoyed both of them.

For MK we haven't tried too many sit downs, but would like to try Liberty Tree tavern or Crystal Palace for dinner.

Definately give whispering canyon a try it was very good.::yes::

OK- I just checked out 50's Primetime- and we must go there!
Maybe we'll head there to eat a late lunch our first day!
I can't believe I never really checked it out!
Sounds great!
Thanks!

FYI - the portions are pretty large at 50's Prime Time...so you might want to make a PS for say, around 4 ish and just grab snacks later on when necessary. :)

enjoy it! love that place!

Wed--I'd light lunch at WL the do 50's Prime Time Cafe for dinner at MGM

Thurs--we love Columbia Harbor House for lunch. I'd make LTT for dinner....it's a character meal! Served family style, it has a "Thanksgiving dinner" feel....turkey, stuffing, mac & cheese, etc.

Fri--Epcot light lunch I love the ham & cheese croissants in the patisserie in France (followed by a chocolate one for dessert :) )

Sat--since AK closes early, I'd head to DTD to shop and do dinner. Wolfgang Puck and Bongos are our favorites there.

Sun--try not to get teary as you leave the parks!

Have a good time!
Katie

I guess it would also depend on your toddlers age and attention span. I would say definetly try and go to the crystal palace at the magic kingdom for lunch or dinner with pooh and the gang. Always see lots of happy faces and if your child is under 3 he/she would be free. I would strongly rethink rainforest unless your child can handle the big thunderstorm, lights going dim, howling gorillas and screeching monkeys etc. Its animatronics at its zooiest. We have 3 ds and have been taking them since the littlest was 18 months. Liberty Tree is pretty sedate. Characters at dinner only. Also the whispering canyon is loud at dinner but fun. Make sure you ask for a server who is into the antics, before you get seated. Ours was not and this frustrated the ds to no end. They have requested never to return there again. The little one would like the stick pony race etc. I would also HIGHLY recommend the character breakfast at Ohanas at the Polynesian. The kids get to have a little parade around the room with the characters and they are given musical instruments to play while marching, like maraccas etc. Worth every cent and then some. Its something more your toddler could participate in , instead of just observing. You can even lend a hand if need be. The food is also brought to you family style instead of getting up and going to a buffet so you both can always stay with your child.

Just my 2 cents worth (not adjusting for inflation.. of course). When we went to the 50's prime time cafe I loved it. My DH got scolded for putting his elbows on the table while my DS(then 6) was told that whatever made him comfortable was A O.K.. Then there was a young CM who was going around to everyone who looked bored and broke out the ol' family album. It was sooo funny to watch!! You'll have a great time.... enjoy!!

I wouldn't make lunch PS because you may decide that you would want to get lunch some where else. The Liberty Tree is great for dinner though.:hyper:

I like LTT better for lunch than dinner. I can get their pot roast at lunch.

Just wanted to add that we had great meals at RFC, Crystal Palace, LTT with our kids, ages 1 and 3. But at Sci Fi, which is dark, they were scared of the monster movies, the screaming women and mean monsters in the films, etc. I'm always amazed no other parents mention this. We won't be going back for a while.

Good luck!
