Hi,
Not sure if I should post it here or on disabilities board, but whats the e-mail for Brenda Berret (bennet?), to get more info on food allergies. I know last year i filled out a form of where we were eating and what the allergy was. Thanks!

The disabilities board will have much more to offer you than in this forum. Plenty of experts there that know the ins and outs of allergies and what to do about them.

:)

I have a peanut/pine nut allergy, and I've never had a problem dining at Disney. Just this past April, we ate at Teppan Edo in EPCOT; I was really nervous because since it is Japanese food, I was assuming they would use a lot of nuts in the cooking. I told our waitress about my allergy and right away the manager came over and personally asked me what my specific allergies were. I told him, and he was very accomodating, reassuring me that they would take care of and be aware of my allergy. The food was great, and I had nothing to worry about. Disney is VERY good about certain allergy and food needs. :thumbsup2

Here's the info from the Disney dining:

If it is at least 2 weeks until your reservation date, please email us at SpecialDiets@DisneyWorld.com with any food-allergy or food-intolerance concerns.
If it is within 2 weeks of your reservation, please call (407) 824-5967, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., Monday - Friday. Calls outside of business hours will be returned the next business day. Guests under age 18 must have parent or guardian permission to call.
Finally, we request that you please confirm your dietary requests with the chef or manager on duty when you arrive at your dining location.

As you make ADRs, the online form asks if anyone in the party has food allergies, and someone else pointed out the two week notice.

We ate at Tony's last trip, and the chef came out to make some suggestions on dishes that avoided DW's pine and dairy allergies.

I'm trying to attach you to a link on the AllergyEats Blog about dining at Disney. There were some great comments too to help you. Unfortunately, this message board doesn't allow me to add a link if I haven't posted 10 times, so I have to guide you there instead.

Go to allergyeats.com/blog (I'm leaving the www out in case this board rejects my message again)
Type Disney into the search box on the right
Scroll down a few posts to April and you'll see the Disney headline.

Good luck!
