When making a PS for a large group (9 in our case: 3 adults + 6 kids), is it possible/preferable to break the group into 2 tables in the interest of time management? If so, do you mention this at the time of making the PS or upon checking in at the restaurant?

We travelled in November in a party of 14 and with PS we did not have any trouble getting one table for all of us. In DTD we ate at Ralph Brennan's Jazz Kitchen and House of Blues. Because of the size of our party we were told we should make reservations directly with the restaurants...which we did and the tables were waiting for us when we arrived. We only waited a few minutes at Blue Bayou and no longer than any other group at Goofy's Kitchen (10 min or so). The only restaurant that we had to break into groups was Carnation Cafe since they don't have tables big enough.

Thanks ZeusNike! That's good news. And Carnation Cafe is on my list, so that's good to know. :)
