Dining Time and Place Question

I need some suggestions for dinner, please.

Arriving 7/25 and staying offsite. Eating bfast at the hotel before going to MK when it opens. Plan on staying at MK until 1-2, then heading over to BWV to check in, early if possible. Going to Epcot (Future World) for the later part of the afternoon. Problem is we have an Illuminations Cruise and have to be at Y&BC at 8. Where do you recommend we eat? Should we not use our dining credits from the dining plan that day, and just pickup something at the Electric Umbrella before boarding our boat? Can you think of anything better? We obviously don't have time for a real sit down meal that day. I wish we could do a sit down meal for lunch using our dining plan credits, but we don't get these until we check into the hotel right? I suppose we could always do the dining plan on the boat, but I would imagine that would be a fortune. We planned on just ordering some drinks for the kids and wine for us. I was thinking of doing a large lunch and then a smaller dinner that day.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Well, you could do this.... Eat a light lunch or snack at MK while touring, and then head to BWV to check in as planned. With your dining credits you could then eat an early dinner either in the Boardwalk area, near the International Gateway or in Future World.

If concerned about timing: Sunshine Seasons in the Land pavilion is an EXCELLENT counter service spot. You could get a quick filling meal and save your TS meal for another day.

Or - an early TS dinner at Coral Reef, or Rose & Crown, or Beaches & Cream right near where you catch your cruise. Lots of options!
