When do you find out what your dining rotation is? :confused3 We have paid our deposit but we do not sail until July 2006. Okay, so I am planning early. I know you all do too!!! ;)

We are not experts, but didn't know our dining rotation on our last cruise until we checked in at the port. It is on your key.

Hope this helps..

According to the cruise guide at allearsnet.com it is in your room when you check in.

That is when you find out, after you check in. I use to think that if you had REAS you would know, but someone posted earlier today that they didn't get their requested rotation & had to go to the Palo resie area to get it changed.

You can find your rotation by the letters on your KWTW card. That way you can make your Palo resies using that info to make your choices. :) Usually you can't get to your room until after 1:30.

Correct. We got our key cards after checking in at the terminal, and they said PLAPLAP, which meant we ate in Parrot Cay, then Lumiere's, then Animator's, then....

Thanks everyone, but now I have a follow up question. :earsboy:

I thought you could make Palo reservations before boarding the ship and if so, how do you know what day to make it if you don't know your rotation until you get there? :confused3

At this time I do not believe you can make Palo ressies before boarding the ship...it would be great, but I don't think you can.

Maybe if you had the REAS package.....can someone confirm who has done REAS pkg if you can book Palo ahead of time///

And another FYI....if you are on the official DCL land/sea package your dining rotation WILL NOT be listed on your KTTW card at checkin at your WDW resort. You will have to wait until you get to your cabin and check your dining tickets that will be on your desk.

You can book your Palos reservations ahead of time with the REAS package. I was even able to book the Palos Brunch when I called.

Well, that is a disadvantage for those doing the land/sea package. :( I wonder if you got in line for the check ins and just asked them to advise you of your rotation if they would. I honestly don't see why they wouldn't & it could make the difference of you getting the day you want for Palo or not.

I guess it is a tradeoff....no checkin at DCL but not knowing your dining rotation. I bet if you did just ask one of the CM's at the counter at the port that they would be able to tell you your dining rotation...you just may have to wait in line and that sort of defeats the whole purpose of a one checkin at WDW.

I am sure it is some stupid little computer quirk that prevents them from listing your dining rotation on your KTTW card since it is generated at WDW, not DCL port.

My guess is that they DON'T know what your dinning rotation will be when you check in for the land portion (you know it's 3 or 4 days before you sail - and DCL just might not yet know!!)
