We knew starting out that we wanted to eat at places that we had never eaten before and we definitely accomplished our goal.

Port Orleans Riverside Food Court - We ate here serveral times. We found that the 16" Supreme Pizza to be the best deal and bang for our buck. It easily fed the four of us. We ordered it two different times and it was good both times. Other foods were hamburgers (good), nachos (ok), taco salad (ok), Cesear salad (ok, but left a weird taste in my husband's mouth), and the garden salad. My daughter liked the salad but did not care for the brand of Ranch dressing provided. One thing that we did not care for is that only Coca Cola products are offered, no Dr. Pepper, Root Beer or Pepsi. Of course, you can have pink lemonade, coffee or hot chocolate if you prefer.

Rosie's All American Cafe - (I think this is the place, over near the Rockin' Roller Coaster) Anyway, we had lunch here one day. I shared a chicken basket with fries with our daughter and my husband did the same with our son. We were served four huge pieces of chicken with fries. It was more than enough for two people. The was an average meal but worth what we paid since it fed two people. We each shared a large drink. Spent $21.

Whispering Canyon Cafe - I chose this restaurant because it sounded like a fun place to eat plus I wanted to look over the Wilderness Lodge. After looking over the menu at Deb Willis' site I had mis-givings. I should have listened to myself. We enjoyed the hi-jinks at the other tables and were happy that we did not get one of the "rowdy" ones to serve us. My husband and I had the meatloaf, our son had the 3 piece chicken and our daughter had the children's chicken strips. Most meals were served with garlic mashed potatoes (which we don't care for) so the meatloaf was about all we had to choose from except for the salads and sandwiches. The meatloaf was okay but not great. Our son and daughter said the same about their meals. Would I eat there again? No. Spent $70.

Donald's Breakfastosaurus - Our reservation was for 9:00. We got to the park and signed in at 8:10. They took us on in. Our waiter escorted us and other groups, telling us trivia about the park on our way. He was very friendly. They take your picture before you enter the restaurant which you have an opportunity to buy. The buffet was very good, in fact they have two buffets, one hot and one cold. Goofy and Donald worked one side of the restaurant while Mickey and Goofy worked the other. The characters did not spend much time with us probably because our kids are older, 14 and 11. We ate here because Donald has been so hard for us to find. Our waiter was very good, never rushed us, played a practical squirting catsup joke on our daughter. Goofy did come over to us two different times but I think that it was because Mickey and Goofy were taking longer than normal in the other part of the restaurant. We missed Donald because we were up at the buffet and they made sure that he got by our table. We were reassured several times by several different people without our asking that he would be by. Mickey passed us by because Pluto was at the next table and they made sure that he came by before he headed to the other part of the room. They must have a certain route they take and if we would have had to wait, it would have been 30 minutes before we would have seen them. Will we go again? No, but the food was good. I think that they should have at least two more characters for the money you pay. Spent $73.

Boatwright's - We ate our Thanksgiving meal here. Or at least my husband and I did. We were served white and dark meat turkey, a large scoop of dressing, an even larger serving of mashed potatos and gravy, whole green beans, sweet potatoes and cranberry sauce. Desert was apple or pumpkin pie which came with the meal. Our son ate prime rib with a baked potato and green beans. Our daughter had chicken strips and french fries. We were given sourdough rolls to eat with our meals. This was the best meal all week. Would I eat here again? Definitely! Spent $78.

Electric Umbrella - My husband, son and I had the grilled chicken sandwiches, our daughter the chicken strips. The grilled chicken was tasteless. I remembered eating here 6 years ago and didn't care for it then. I wanted to go somewhere else but the family was hungry and I guess their memory faulty, so I lost out. Will I eat here again? No. My husband told me that I didn't want to know how much the meal cost.

The Land - We ate here right at closing. We all had chicken strips. Not very good but we were tired. We thought about trying the Garden Grill but did not feel like forking out the money that we seemed to giving for our sit down meals. Maybe we should have but we have learned the hard way not to eat dinner when a restaurant is at closing time and didn't want to add this to the list. Will I eat here again? Maybe earlier in the day. Don't know how much this cost either.

SNACKS

Strawberry Minnie bar, not the same as two years ago. This time it is covered in white chocolate, I think. Didn't like it as well.

Chocolate covered ice cream Mickey Bars were as good as ever.

Beaver Tail, we were looking forward to this but you can't beat a sopapilla.

Lemon slush, just the right thing to quench your thirst.

Thanks for the reviews.

We have eaten at WCC several times and get the all you can eat skillet and it's really good:D
