OK this is it. My last two Ts reviews I promise.
Whispering Canyon Cafe-This was our second trip to WCC. Once again we were seated right at our ADR time. Instead of being in the main part of the dining room we were in the back part sort of cut off. If I had it to do over again I would have waited for a spot in the main room. It was very quiet back there, you can barely hear the goings on in the main room. When our server came to take our order he really didn't want to let DS(10) order off the kids menu. We were on the DDP, we paid adult price for him, and we had no problems anywhere else ordering an adult appetizer and dessert and an entree off the kids menu. He kept saying he really needed to order off the adult menu. He started going over the menu with us and DS trying to get him to eat something off the adult menu. That kind of bothered me and so I told the waiter he would not eat any of that stuff he wanted to order a hot dog. He said he would have to speak to a manager. So he come back and takes our order and lets DS order a hot dog. We had been getting an adult apptz. for him but I was so out of sorts over the whole thing I didn't think to order his nachos. DH and I ordered the AYCE Skillet. I didn't try any of the salad I didn't want to fill up but I ended up filling up on that wonderful sweet cornbread. Normally I don't care for sweet cornbread, where I come from you can't hardly get it anyway, but I love it at WCC. The food on the skillet was pretty good. The ribs and pulled pork were tender and I love the sausage. DH said the chicken was good, the taters (WITH THE PEELS OF COURSE
) were good. The BBQ sauce is a little too sweet for me, I prefer more of a vinegar sauce. DS got 2 hot dogs instead of just one and fries. I did notice that they charged $12 for them. No biggie since we were on the plan but others may want to beware. For dessert DS got the S'Mores Dessert, he said it was good. DH got the Kahlua Cake, he liked it. I had the cake before and didn't care for it, it was too chocolate. I got the Banana Dust Bowl and I liked it quite a bit. The cinnamon on the tortilla type shell is really good. Overall I still like the food but would not go back unless I could be guaranteed a spot in the main room.
'Ohana Breakfast- One again we were seated right at our ADR time. We had no more than got sat down and one Stitch came by. We were not ready for him yet and I felt bad holding everybody up while we got everything ready. They let me order a coke instead of juice.
Our waitress brought out a fruit plate and a basket of breads. The fruit plate had cantaloupe, honeydew, watermelon, and pineapple. I noticed others had grapes on their plate but we didn't. The bread was a peice of pineapple bread, a peice of raisin bread, and one biscuit. Sharing the other bread wasn't hard but how in the world are three people supposed to share one biscuit 
. THe skillet consisted of scrambled eggs, bacon, link sausage, Mickey waffles, and potatoes. The eggs and bacon were OK but I love their link sausage. It is bigger than normal link sausage and is very tasty. I have seen other reviews saying it is the same sausage they have at dinner but trust me it isn't. To me the best part is the potatoes, they are more like "home fries" and they have some kind of seasoning on them that is wonderful. Of course the waffles were very good, meaty on inside crisp on the outside. The character interaction was OK, Pluto was very good. We never saw Lilo. A lady came buy and asked if we had seen her, we said no. She said Lilo would be out in the lobby intil 10:30. It was 10:15 and our food had just arrived, were we really supposed to leave our food to get cold to go stand in the lobby to see Lilo ? I almost felt rushed we were there only forty minutes. I still love at Ohana, one of my faves.
