I have been calling to get dining for this trip and they arent as nice as usual, just down to business. Also, nothing is available, really hard to get some of these places, worse than normal. Anyone else experiencing this?

I talked to two CM's yesterday. One was bad, and I was holding the line to do the random survey at the end. She transferred me to the CRO line to book a package. I would guess she knows what a pill she is :rotfl:

The second CM was very friendly, efficient, but friendly. She was knowledgeable and helped me feel magical.

I was canceling ADR's for next week, and tried to see if they had a Crystal Palace breakfast instead of lunch for our party of 7 on 3/28. They didn't and I wasn't shocked, being this close.

However, I was able to make and alter a BUNCH of reservations about 4 weeks ago. So I don't think that they're harder to get, I just think that my request for next week was a little unreasonable.

I am surprised you're having a problem two months out - I'd be bummed too. I'd just keep trying and make sure to do the surveys at the end, especially if you have an exceptionally bad or exceptionally good CM.

I called and made my ressies for August last night and got everything I requested - everything. The CM, Neva, was lovely and thanked me for being so organized and "knowing what I wanted". If you call early enough (I'm 150 days out), you won't have a problem.

I too had my stuff in order, I had a date and place and most times where totally flexible :confused3 I think I will get close to want I need in the end... I just am bummed the CM's have been so lame. Nothing magical like the past.

I'm sorry. Most the CM's I've talked to have been very friendly or at least good enough. If you just keep calling back you'll probably eventually get a nice CM.

Neva is my name! It is a family name and I have never encountered anyone else with my name (other than my cousins). I'm so glad she was helpful and held up our good "Neva" reputation! ;)

This may be a little off the topic but I am just replying to what a few have said about the cast members not being what they used to be. I AGREE! They are not even close to what they used to be and it seems a shame to have to say just call back and you will eventually get a nice one! Shouldn't they all be!

we just made all of our reservations for our sept trip and the CM we talked to was extremely nice, polite and accomcdating.

Had a great CM as well when I just made my ADR's, got everything I wanted too, well except Yak & Yeti, but thats because the park closes too early and we didnt want to do a dinner that early but Boma instead was probably a better place to go anyway!

No offense but IMHO the whole 180 day ADR race and the subsequent 180 days of changing and rearranging of those dining reservations has made it much more difficult on the CM's. In addition I think guests are significantly more demanding than they ever were...................

again, no offense meant but I do think the combo of the 180 days ADR and the finely detailed demands of the guests has made the CM's job a lot less pleasant than it used to be.

My personal experience with the phone CM's has always been very pleasant. Every time. :)

I have to agree with DisMN. I've read on these boards many times of someone calling right at the 180 day mark to get their reservations and then make a great many changes to their schedule or whatever and then change their dining arraignments every time they make one change to their plans. It's no wonder the Cast Members get overwhelmed at times.

I agree! I think it's crazy that they don't make the ressies interactive so we could book them ourselves online; they'd save a lot of people power at Disney that way.

I went to high school with someone whose name was Neva and it was in NJ (as are you). Did you go to high school in NJ?

I have called several times to make and/or change ADRs for our upcoming June trip. Every CM that I have spoken to has been wonderful. They have been very friendly and helpful. We will be there for 13 days and I was able to get every ADR that I requested. Most I got at the exact time I wanted and others were within 15 minutes. I have to say that in all of our trips, it is very rare that I get a CM that I would consider unhelpful or unfriendly.
I even got breakfast at CRT and I didn't call exactly at our 180 mark.
