Dining reservations tied to

tickets or hotel stay? We have 8 day tickets starting 5/30. We are at the Dolphin the first 3 nights and can book those 4 days but it is grayed out after that. So do I have to book the remaining 4 days at 60 days before each park day? I ask because it was a pain staying at Dolphin because it wouldn't let me book 60+ 4 like it should've and I just waited until today since I don't need anything that bad and so I didn't call but now I may if it's tied to tickets.

Dining adrs are not tied to anything. Having a Disney resort stay gives you the advantage of booking at 60 days plus up to a total of 10 days. Each stay has its own adr window. Swolphin doesn’t have the Disney resort perk.

Hmmm when I asked on another thread, people answered that Dolphin did have the 60+ 10 and that it didn't work well for online reservations , that you had to call. But anyway, doesn't really matter at this point for me.

So today is 60 days before we check in to Dolphin, it shows that I can book until 6/2 only (our check out day).
We have 8 day PH tickets that span 5/30-6/10 for use. Should I be able to book until 6/10?

I swear many many trips to WDW, almost 20 years, I've never had any problems booking reservations.

No, once your onsite hotel ends you "lose" the additional headstart on reservations. You'll have to do it each morning for the remainder of your trip if you are shifting offsite.

OK gotcha. We usually stay onsite first few days then switch to offsite. I think the difference is I never really did 180 days. But I would do like 90-120 days out and usually get everything I wanted. Just kept checking.
Oh well, guess I'll have to be on each of the other 4 days. lol Kids are not little anymore so no worries of character meals, but would like Sci Fi. Probably take a miracle to get Space 220.

Yep, while most people call it 60+10, it's really 60+(length of stay) with a max of 60+10.
