Dining Reservations-have the rules changed?

I'm checking in to Beach Club on December 11, so this morning I'm trying to make a reservation for Chef's on the Monday after check in. I thought that you could make reservations for your whole week 60 days before check in, but the reservation site won't give me beyond October 11. Has that changed? Maybe I'm one day off.

ETA - does my park reservation have to be for EPCOT that day? I was planning on hopping over there for dinner etc.
 
You're a day off. For Dec 11 check in, the ADR window opens on 10/12.

Park reservations are not required in order to make an ADR.
 

Anyone having trouble making Ards today for 12/11? I'm on right now and I can't get the dump app or website to work. It is midnight, maybe I'm to early?

You’re a couple hours early, 12/11 will open Tues. 10/12 - sometime between 5:45 - 6:00 a.m. east coast time.
This morning they opened at 6 a.m. for 12/10 arrivals, the calendar on the first search page didn’t show beyond 12/10 as open even after 6 a.m., but when I went to the reservation page for the restaurant I wanted the calendar there let me book +10 (we have an 11 day stay so I have one more day to get :( )
 
What time does the phone line open? I have a big group (13) and it’s hard to book that online. But I fear everything will be gone by the time the phone lines open. Any suggestions?

Phones open at 7am. If I were you I'd try to do them at 6am online and see what you can get, if anything, before waiting to call. You can also try to split into 2 groups and get reservations around the same time.
 
My 60 day window opened on Saturday and I wasn't able to book for anything beyond arrival date though my resort reservation was properly linked. Frustrating considering I had to get up at 5 AM my time to book. I waited on hold for 2.5 hours and was disconnected, then went to chat and it took them 6 hours to respond and when they did they couldn't help. Disney IT called back 2 hours later. They agreed I should be able to book, but they couldn't fix the issue so they booked for me. By that time a lot of what I wanted was gone. Super frustrating.
 
This morning was a total crap show! I'm in central time zone and for some reason I thought that the reservations time was 545-6ish am. On top of that the app was giving me problems at first and the website wouldn't work either. I couldn't get ohanas on our arrival day, but got it for our planned epcot day. I was also able to grab a Space 220 reservation but it was on our last day before we leave. We usually like for this day to be a rest/ packing up day but now it will be an Epcot day. It's also a Saturday! I hope it's not going to be to crowded. I guess beggar's can't be choosers, huh....

I'm so sorry to hear about the problems you were having! Makes my meal planning adventure look easy. I hope you get all the reservations you need.
 
The TP Reservation Finder has helped me before so hopefully it helps me this time!

I'm using the TP reservation finder for the first time. Hoping it can get me an Ohana reservation for our first night. I also set my second one to find me a space 220 lunch reservation. I went and took a look at the dinner menu again and feel it's just ok. Lunch looks better for us. So crossing my finger we get the lunch reservation, so I can release our dinner one.
 
If the main dining page doesn’t show your date, don’t panic. When you go to do a search you will be able to choose your date. For some reason the main screen grays out the date. Try again - there might still be openings towards the end of your trip
 
This afternoon I went back into the app to check and see if space 220 lunch ADR would pop up. Low and behold an ADR did pop up and it was on the original day that I wanted it to be!!! I'm glad almost everything us falling into place.
