Dining res before parks open

Ok - I know you can get in early if you have a dining res before parks open. We have an 8:40 res at Plaza Inn when regular opening is 9am. 2 of the 3 of us have magic morning that day, but I do not as I have an AP (DH and DD have 3 day PH). What is the earliest they would let me in for our 8:40 res?

I believe they will let you in at 830.
