Dining Recommendations Needed!

I am heading down to Disney World 12/2 thru 12/5 with a group of six girls. This will be my 11th trip to the World, but my first with a group of friends. We are all directors (and 1 District Mgr) for KinderCare and are going to get away and really have fun! No husbands, no kids.. just moms on the loose!

My biggest question is what to do for dinners. We are doing the Dining Plan so we have 3 table service meals to plan. What suggestions do you have?

We are getting together on Thursday (after an actual work meeting) to make some decisions regarding food. I'm hoping that I can bring some great recommendations to the group.

We are staying at the Caribbean Beach Resort as of now. I'm truly hoping for a great deal at the AKL, so that we can switch.

What do you think??

Since you are not with kids i would eat at the finest! But it may cost you two sit down tickets, so that is up to you. Victoria and alberts in the grand floridian and yachtsman are some choices. I also hear for 1 sit down Le Cellier in epcot. Sorry I have not been yet to recommend anything more!

We just got back last week! I liked Concourse Steakhouse and Ohona's. Also enjoyed the Hoop Dee Doo Review (2 table services). It is a dinner show.

I just got back from the same kind of trip. We did Ohana, CRT (which is just so nice, even for adults IMO) and LeCellier! Just the most awesome trip! Have fun on yours.

OK, here goes my suggestions. You'll definately have to narrow it down!

MK - Dinner at the castle
Epcot - Le Cellier, Chefs de France, Teppanyaki
MGM - Hollywood Brown Derby or 50's Prime Time
(Nothing for AK, since there are no TS's there)

Resorts -
Jiko at AKL
Citrico's at GF
California Grill at CR
Kona Cafe at Poly
Yachtsman Steakhouse at YC

Don't get your hopes too high for Le Cellier during that week. It's been booking up solid because of the Candlelight Processional dinner packages. Good luck though!

Thanks for the advice. I was thinking about Le Cellier... Is it possible to be on the dining plan and also get the Candelight package? I've been dying to see that, this would be a great trip to enjoy the quiet moments.

Thanks again!

I'll be there the same time as you, and I wanted to make sure you knew about the many meets that will be going on that week. This is probably the single best week to meet other DISer's and WDW fans. If you're interested, please check out the DIS Meets board, especially the thread about the Jellyrolls meet on December 2 - I bet your group would really enjoy it! :)

As far as meals, I think that 50's Prime Time would be a lot of fun with a group of girls. I went with my girlfriend on our trip last December, and we had a blast!
