Dining Recommendations for solo trip

Hi everyone, I am taking a quick solo trip (m/35) next week. Usually I travel with DS(8) which limits our dining choices and I would like to try some other things. I have a 2 day Park Hopper Plus and here is my tenative itinerary:

Thursday: AM: Magic Kingdom, PM: MGM
Friday: AM: Animal Kingdom, PM: Epcot, Night: Pleasure Island
Saturday: Afternoon: DTD shopping.

I usually only eat one big meal a day and light lunch, of course i can swith that on vacation!

Any suggestions? I was thinking of 9 Dragons posibly at Epcot for lunch?

how about jiko at AKL? fabulous food! at DTD we have enjoyed a light lunch at wolfgang puck express. had some wonderful butternut squash soup there in december!

My favorite spot for solo dining is Chefs de France. Be sure you get a table by the window! Although I haven't dined solo at Sci-Fi yet, I went there for the first time last trip and definitely expect that to be a good solo choice. I also really like CRT.

I would not recommend Nine Dragons. It is expensive and the food is nothing to brag about. The Chinese restaurant in my hometown is much better.....

I do love the food at Brown Derby. I had an absolutely scrumptious lunch. It was one of the best solo meals I had last April.

Hope you enjoy the solo experience! I found it to be a wonderful respite from the rigors of family living.

Sci-Fi at MGM is good for a lunch (dinner is way too $$) or dessert. Any character meal at MK are good. Don't forget about turkey legs and dole whips at MK too! DTD's Wolfgang Puck's Express is good too.
