Dining question

I'm not sure if I should post here or somewhere else. We currently have a reservation with AAA for Disney Sept. 19-25. Well, we're going to change our reservation and fly in on the 18th instead and still leave on the 25th. When we booked, it was free dining, but we upgraded to the basic. So, will we still be eligible for the free dining for the extra day? AND, am I assuming correctly that if were are there for 7 nights, we will get 7 snacks, 7 counter service meals and 7 sit down meals? We won't be arriving until at least 10pm on Sunday night b/c our flight doesn't get in until 8pm. Will we still get credits for that day?

Your dining credits are based on the number of nights you are there.

So if you are staying 7 nights, you will have 7 TS, 7 CS and 7 snacks per person if you have the reg plan (DDP).

Once you check in they are put on your KTTW card and are pooled together with everyone's in the room. You can use them whenever you like. If you want to use all 3 TS in one day you can do that or you can plan each meal so they cover your entire vacation. It is up to you.

As for the extra night....I don't know sorry. What I can say is, if free dining is offered that day and the resort still has availability you may be able to extend your stay with free dining.

However I do know if FD isn't offered you can't get it just because the rest of your vacation you have it.

Your TA may be able to help you with this.

if the dining is available for the extra day then you will get it. it does not matter what time you check in since that will count as a night as the pp mentioned. you need to see if they have any rooms available on the extra day with the fd to see if you will get it or not. if it is not available that day i would look into just staying at a cheap hotel for that one night since you are not getting in until 8 pm

We got the extra day. So, now it's just hopefully they will have the Pop food court open when we get there (probably 9:30ish) so we can at least get a snack.
