Dining PS and Parade

This might be a silly question, but, coming from a newbie....

Is it a good idea to make PS for right after the Parade. That is when the crowds all head for the attractions or the nearest food, right?

I am making a PS for the Plaza for sandwiches and ice cream for right after the parade. We could head right inside, and avoid the madness and the lines. I noticed that the CM said that 3:00 (during the Parade) is booked up. But she had openings for after the parade.

We would pretty much be taking a huge break from 2:00pm to after 4:00pm. We would not be able to getting FastPasses, etc...

How would you plan this?

Since you are really just planning on sandwiches and ice cream I would grab them at 2:00 and get your spot for the parade while eating your lunch. This way your not having even more downtime after the parade.
