Dining plans off property?

Hello!
I was told that there is a meal plan offered to guests staying off property now, but I can't find anything about it. We are staying at the Swan and Dolphin and June and may be interested.
Does anyone have any info on this?

No, DDP requires a Disney resort stay. Swan and Dolphin do not qualify.

i think this might be what you remember hearing about, but it doesn't look like it is available anymore. Perhaps someone with more knowledge can chime in if I am wrong.

I wonder what happened with this? It was obviously a "let's see how this goes" type deal for Disney. My guess is they didn't sell very many.

I would think your guess is likely correct. They discussed it on a recent DIS podcast and they said it was difficult to make it worthwhile.
