Dining plan ?

Yet another dining plan question...sorry! My DD and I will be staying at OKW for 6 nights over the 4th of July. My husband is coming down mid week but only staying 4 nights. We are considering the DDP and I was questioning whether I have to pay 6 nights for my DH or will they allow just 4 for him?

We have considered the TIW card but there is a black out date on the 4th when we are eating at a signature restaurant. I also drink a LOT of water and the snack credits will come in handy for water so I don't have to lug a bag stuffed with water bottles. So undecided...people seem to love the TIW card. If it matters, we also have 9 nights booked at spring break and would be able to use the TIW card then also. Thanks....

I could be wrong but I believe they will charge you for your husband for the entire trip. Sorry. FWIW, TIW is a very good alternative. Could you move that Signature reservation? TIW could be an even better option since they are usually good for 13 months.

Everyone in the room has to have the same DDP for all the nights of the reservation.

If you were to get the dining plan, you and your daughter could use the extra credits while he's not with you.

Instead of lugging water or paying Disney prices for it get a Brita bottle. You can get free cups of ice water at fast food locations in the parks and pour them into your bottle. It filters the water as you drink it. I love mine!

This is exactly what I was going to suggest about the water. We just learned about doing the free ice water at the Quick Service locations. This came in SUPER handy and I wasn't using up all of our snack credits on water. I didn't think about a Brita filtered water bottle so that's a wonderful suggestion. I didn't think the water tasted bad though.
