Dining Plan

We are checking into Beach Club on Monday March 15th and when I called member services to add the dining plan the price she quoted me was for $41.99 a day. But when I look on Mousesavers, it looks like we are in peak season and it should be $46.99. We are going with other family members and I want to make sure I give them the right amount. Does anyone know which is the correct amount.

DVC members will always pay the off-season rate. I'll try to find the thread and post the link.

That's correct. For this year anyway, DVC members don't have to pay the higher DDP price during the peak seasons. I assume it's because the price for DVC was negotiated in a contract prior to the decision to charge more for DDP during the peak seasons. So I wouldn't necessarily expect that to stay the same forever, but for this year it is true.

We were just there last week, and it was "peak" price then too. We only paid the $41, regular price as DVC members.

The $41.99 is the same for all the guests in your room. You must purchase it for each guest for the entire legnth of the reservation. Also it needs to be added to the reservation at least 48 hours prior to arrival and paid for upon check in. Have fun

This is great! I was bummed when I realized that we were going during a peak dining period and would have to pay more for DP (the increase adds up when you are paying for a party of 6). I almost cancelled and ordered a TIW card instead. I feel much better now.
