Happy Friday everyone!
I just posted this question on my lonely, almost friendless PTR
so I figured I better post it here too:
I have a question about my reservation. Since we have 2 rooms and so far just Robert (who's under 18) is listed in the 2nd room, I was listed in one room and my husband in the other. Which is fine, but then the CM gave us 2 entirely separate reservation numbers, one in my name and one in my husband's, and listed one under my email address and one under my my husband's. So that got me to thinking . . . which is always a dangerous enterprise for me . . . Hubs & I really want to do deluxe dining this time because we're pretty sure the kids are old enough to go do their thing some of the time, and we're also pretty sure they will not want to have 3 sit down meals a day or go to the fancier restaurants. Since we have 2 separate reservation numbers, does that mean 1 room could be on the deluxe dining plan and 1 be on the regular? That would be awesome!
Which means it probably won't work.
Which leads me to another logistical question - difference in dining plans aside, since we're all counted as adults for the dining plan, those credits are still pooled, right? But if we have 2 separate reservation numbers will they be pooled for our entire party or divided by who is listed in each room on the reservation? The bottom line is I wonder if, when we're eating a meal together, a person in one room will have to "pay" for whoever is in their room and someone in the other room will have to pay for those people.
Do I make sense? In the past at a table service restaurant, my husband or I would normally just hand the server our room key and X number of meal credits would be deducted. Since we're most likely not going to eat all of our meals together even if we're all on the same dining plan, this is important to know! I'd hate to be having a delightful meal at Narcoosee's and at the end have to track down one of my kids because I used all my room's meal credits on them.
