Dining Plan when traveling with a group - a question

We are debating whether or not to purchase the dining plan for our upcoming family reunion. We will have 10 people divided into three separate package/room reservations. Can anyone tell me how difficult it is to pay for the bill when you have three different room reservations/cards within your group? Obviously, at counter service restaurants it won't be an issue as each person will pay for their own meal with their own card. I can see a problem with the table service restaurants though. Is it difficult for the server to take credits off of the different cards? I was hoping that with everyone purchasing the dining plan it would make it easier when it comes time to pay the bill, as there won't be any arguing over who gets the check. But then I started to think it through and I can forsee an issue with making sure that the credits get taken off each persons room correctly....

Has anyone traveling in a group (with multiple rooms) had any issue breaking up the bill at table service restaurants when using the dining plan?

We just booked a group of 12. Although we booked as a group, aka grand gathering, each family got different packages (ticket options) and paid separately. All are on the dining plan. Each package has its own credits pooled (even for multiple rooms. ie0 we have 2 adults and 4 kids on our package at Pop. Our card will say 1 adult and 2 kids per room card but all 6 peoples credits will still be on both cards). the other parties with separate packages will have the their credits on their cards. When we dine out as 12 we will just ask for the bill to be separated by family. If you paid as one group and one package all your dining will be on one card regardless of what is on the card. Hope this makes sense. The grand gathering people can probably explain it better.

We had a party of 6 adults last week, 3 different cards, and no server had an issue with it. Sometimes we had as many as 6 checks, too - 3 meal plan checks to sign PLUS 3 oop checks to sign (alcoholic drinks, extras, etc).

They all seemed to do this all the time and didn't have an issue.

We were a party of 13 in 3 different rooms. It was a little confusing a few times because we did some sharing, but we just told them up front how many meals we would be ordering and then told them how many to deduct when the bill came. Servers got it wrong twice, but they fix it at the hotel easily. Just check the "guest count" on your receipt and make sure it matches the number of credits you wanted to have deducted. Also, keep your receipts and you'll be able to fix it very easily at your hotel.
