Dining plan when staying at 2 resorts?

We’re doing a split stay this March between VWL and BCV, so naturally we had to get 2 separate dining plans.

On the morning we check out of VWL we’re having breakfast at O’hana.

Do I have to go over to the BCV to check-in first and get my new KTTW card with the new dining plan credits on it, or can this be done from the VWL?

If you have credits left over from your first resort they will be good until midnight of the first day of your new resort so you can use the first KTTW card you received. If you are out of credits, you will need to check-into your new resort to get new KTTW cards and activate the new Dining Plan.

We actually won't have any credits left on our old KTTW card, so it looks like we'll be checking in first at BCV to get our new cards.
