Dining plan update - more snacks allowed

Apparently as from 1t May the snack options have been extended to basically anything snackable under $4.00, so lots more to munch on including Dole Whips, Cinnamon Yummies, Ice Cream sundaes!!

This is the list:
ice cream novelty
frozen fruit bar
box of popcorn
12 oz soft drink
20 oz Powerade
24 oz bottle of water
piece of fruit
bottled fruit juice
flavored milk
snack-sized bag of chips
ice cream sundaes
ice cream floats
smoothies
nachos
bakery items
Mickey rice krispy treats

And on the US dining board there's a couple of thread with what people have been getting

Makes it even more worthwhile!!

We were wondering how we got a dole whip and a pineapple one on our 2nd last day (2nd May).

Before that we just used snacks for drinks. and the odd ice cream

I've been reading about this over on the Restaurant Forum and it seems that lots of DISers are going to use the snack option to get their breakfast which IMHO makes the DDP an even better proposition!

This is great news! We're looking at the dining plan for next year as, if we go, we'll almost certainly be staying on property for the first time and it's looking like a good option!
