Dining Plan/Shows - HELP!!

We will be going to Disney in August and I plan on buying the dining plan. I have a few questions I hope someone can help me with.

We want to go to the Fantasmic show and I know from before the restaurants I belive that qualified were Mama Melrose and the Brown Derby. If we eat at Mama Melrose's does that count as 2TS or as 1TS? Its not listed as a signature restaurant so I dont really know from reading another post I found on the board.

How do I book to see the Hoop-De-Doo-Revue(spelling?)? Again, can this be used for the dining plan and how many TS does it count for?

I also heard I can book early(i think now) for the Fantasmic package to get the guaranteed seating. Is this true or when can you book your reservations?

Well ... I can answer a few of your questions.

Mama Melrose is only 1 TS credit. We did this in February. Brown Derby counted as 2 TS credits. Our 3rd option was Hollywood and Vine, which was also 1 TS credit. We didn't chose this because we did not want to do a buffet.

When booking the Fantasmic Package (I'm not sure how far ahead), we had to give a credit card number for a guarantee. If we did not show up or cancel 48 hrs ahead of time, it would have been a $10 charge per person. Otherwise, there was no extra charge besides the 1 TS credit per person.

Hoop-De-Doo-Revue counts as 2 TS credits. I think you would just call Disney Dining to book that also.

You just call the main dining number to book Hoop de Doo. And if you buy Fantasmic pachage yes you are guaranteed seating.

Just call Disney Dining. Brown Derby is 2TS and Mama Melrose is 1TS. Hoop De Doo is also 2TS. I called a couple of weeks ago for Mickey's Backyard BBQ and they required a credit card to guarantee it but since we were on the Magic Your Way Dining Package nothing is charged to your card unless you don' t show up.
