dining plan question

me and my mom are staying on free dining plan, and she had a question about the table service places. We know they give an appetizer, entree, dessert and drink. She was wondering if you get a salad as well as an appetizer, or does the salad count as the appetizer? TIA!!!

I think a salad would be counted as an appetizer. Most of the menus on allearsnet.com show salads in the appetizer sections.

Perhaps someone who has experienced this will post.
