Dining plan question

If I am on a 4 night stay and only have park tickets for 2 nights....does the dining plan cover 2 nights or 4? I am asking because it has to be combined with a ticket package.

It covers 4. It is per night of your resort stay. You are only required to buy tickets for one day. :)

The number of days on your park tickets is irrelevant. DDP is based exclusively on the number of nights you stay at your resort.

You only have to add the tickets to make the reservation a package so you can get the DDP, which is almost exclusively sold as a package add-on (DVC reservations excepted). AP holders and military members can buy ticketless packages with dining.
