Dining plan question

The kids & I are flying down 2 days before dh. We're taking ME and thinking about the QSDP.

I know I need to add DH to the ressie so he can use ME & EMH, does that mean he'll automatically be added to the DP? And can that start on his arrival day?

I guess this is a split stay with people.

You can add him and share the extra CS credits or you can do a split stay.

Would you use the extra CS and snack credits over the length of your trip? If yes, then just add him as it's less hassle. Consider that you might have to switch rooms when he arrives for the second part of your stay if you do a split stay.

Yes, he will have dining credits for the entire time. The only way to avoid it is to book two different packages (which requires tickets for each) and complete a split stay.

Having the extra credits might not be bad as it would give you an opportunity to have enough meals to cover your check out day as well.
