Dining Plan Question: What's a "party?"

We will be in WDW in August, using our DVC membership to stay in BWV. There will be 10 of us total, occupying three villas. Each villa is reserved in a different name, but they're all booked on my DVC points.

So, for DDP purposes, are we one party of 10? Or are we three parties - 4, 4, and 2? And, if we're considered 3 parties, can I assume that some villas can opt for the DDP while another declines?

As long as you have a separate reservation number for each villa they would each be able to decide if they want the dining plan or not. And don't forget that each person in the villa either buys the plan or not.
