Dining Plan Question w/ DVC and Annual Pass

I have a question about the new Dining Plan that is being offered. My wife and I are DVC members, so when we go to WDW, we don't have to pay for our rooms. We also have annual passes, so we don't have to pay for tickets once we get down there. My question is...is there still a way we could get the Dining Package when we come down? Thanks!!!

We are in the same position and the answer has been no. My family and I think it is a good deal and would definately buy the dining plan if it was offered. I did write a letter to DVC about this and the answer was we could get the DDE card. When my mother (also DVC) also wrote a letter and asked she was told they were looking into this.

Unfortunately, the DDE isn't as good of a deal, but I have thought that is probably the only option we will have. Thanks.
