Dining plan prices

Yesterday we called to make a few changes on our reservation and the CM quoted our Basic Dining Plan as $52 for adults & $15 for children.

Did they raise the dining plan prices along with ticket prices??

On the phone with Disney now... they are saying these are 2011 prices & it is 52, with tax, 15 for a child.



I didn't think there was tax added onto the dining plan or it already included it.

They say they can't give us a detailed price breakdown, because it is a package.

They're quoting the wrong prices, those are the 2012 prices. The 2011 prices, even post 2012 release, have been mathematically proven to be the numbers posted all over. They typically don't itemize the plans and thus don't advertise the actual costs, so the CM is just going by what info she has.

I'd see about getting a quote with the dining plan, then without it, with everything else being equal, and seeing how things change. Chances are the system is charging you correctly and the CM is reading the wrong info.

Wow, it has really risen that much for 2012? It doesnt matter what price they put on the menu, when it is THAT much higher than what you pay outside the gates or in the real world, that is a cost that is going to be beyond justification for alot more families. Its not all inclusive either, no Apps/tips for that price. Yikes!
