We stayed club level at Poly a few years ago and mostly used it for the breakfast. I was happy to have a croissant and coffee for breakfast, and the kids were very happy with cereal or a bagel. If we were around at lunch time or in the evening, we definitely ate the other snacks. All of our other meals were OOP. We didn't get the dining plan, and I am glad we didn't. We didn't do many dining reservations that trip; we made a reservation an hour or two in advance once we decided we were ready to eat.
We had gotten a really great rate on the club level room - it was the same as rack rate in a garden view room at the Contemporary. Because the rate was so good, I didn't mind that we didn't manage to get the evening appetizers most nights. We also took full advantage of the included wine & beer.
