Hi , i am staying at AKL 8 nights with concierge (2 Adults & 13 yr old)..I have no dining plan should i add one or stick with concierge breakfast and oop meals?

You need to do your own research for your family. No one here can answer for you. Many have strong opinions, both pro and con.
We have gotten it for years and really like it. It is how we eat at home. We have saved a bit of money using it.
With concierge I personally would not get a dining plan as well

If you're staying CL, I would probably skip the dining plan. You can get breakfast there most days (I've heard reports of it not being open in time for morning EMH at some resorts). If you take an afternoon break, you'll get good food in the afternoon too. With the dining plan saving only a small amount over paying OOP, I would think the food for CL would make it less attractive.

I would do a dining plan calculator and see if it's worth for you depending on where you want to eat and how you eat. For us, it's always way too much food and save significantly by paying OOP. Also we don't like making too many ADRs (unless our plan is to do a lot of dining). Trying to maximize a regular or deluxe dining plan can definitely cut too much time out for touring. I almost did a QS dining plan for our upcoming trip but it will still be cheaper to pay OOP.

Keep in mind none of the dining plans are designed to save you money except under very specific circumstances. I would skip it and pay out of pocket.

We stayed club level at Poly a few years ago and mostly used it for the breakfast. I was happy to have a croissant and coffee for breakfast, and the kids were very happy with cereal or a bagel. If we were around at lunch time or in the evening, we definitely ate the other snacks. All of our other meals were OOP. We didn't get the dining plan, and I am glad we didn't. We didn't do many dining reservations that trip; we made a reservation an hour or two in advance once we decided we were ready to eat.

We had gotten a really great rate on the club level room - it was the same as rack rate in a garden view room at the Contemporary. Because the rate was so good, I didn't mind that we didn't manage to get the evening appetizers most nights. We also took full advantage of the included wine & beer. :)

sounds great ,i think we will do the same!

My one experience with concierge was at Poly. I have never done a DP, but with the amount of food throughout the day concierge furnishes, I would not buy a DP, then just pay OOP for the meals that appeal to you
