Hi, we are going on our honeymoon in April and purchased the standard plan. I'm not a big meat eater and my DH has never been to Disney before. I also I wanted to include a character meal. I haven't been to WDW in over 10 years and the only restaurant I ate at was Tutto Italia on the list below. I remember eating at Tony's and 1900 Park Faire.

Here's what I have so far. We don't have park hoppers so I'm trying to eat in/around the park we're visiting each day:

1) Sci_fi
2) MK day (need help on a restaurant for this day. I was thinking of Crystal Palace or Grand Floridian Café or maybe The Wave?)
3) Chefs de France
4) Ohana
5) Tutto Italia
6) Akershus character dinner
7) Mama Melrose Fantasmic package

How does this look? I'm trying to go for a variety

So you've got 2 hollywood studios days, 2MK and 3 Epcot?

I like your DHS choices - heard good things about the Mama Melrose F! Package meal. Also Epcot has so many great places, yours look good. I've not been to tutti Italia, so maybe it's so great you wouldnt want to miss it, but it is Italian just as Mama Melrose is. . . If you want to change that up, I like La Hacienda in the Mexico Pavillion.

MK days - you've got 2 character meals already with O'hana and Akershus. Crystal Palace is tasty and cute characters from Winnie the Pooh and its inside the park (0 travel time) but I do like Grand Floridian Cafe and taking a stroll around that resort as a brief break from the park. Haven't eaten at the wave myself. I think for me it would come down to weather you want another character buffet or a no-character sit down. I'd lean toward the sit-down.

Looks like a great overall selection - have fun!

Thanks for the input. I'm thinking of either 1900 Park Faire character dinner or Grand Floridian Café that night so we will have a chance to see that hotel.

DH doesn't like Mexican or I would be all over that in Epcot.

We have 7 counter service meals to research now. I think I am about finished with the table services other than deciding on the MK night.

'Ohana is a character meal only at breakfast. Dinner has some entertainment but no characters. Something you may want to consider.

The counter service meals you are researching have to have flexibility. Realistically, at MK, if you were in Tomorrowland and your desired CS was all the way across the park, it wouldn't be worth the time or the hike in the sun to go all that way for CS-level food offerings. At Epcot, if you were halfway around the World Showcase, you wouldn't want lunch at Sunshine Seasons in Future World. I would create a short list of 1st-2nd-3rd CS choices for each park. Then, when you felt hungry, you would have a few options, some based on where you were located in the park at that time.

We are doing the exact same thing in July for our Honeymoon!! My fiance has never been either but I have been probly 8 times atleast since I was little. I think ohana is a great place to eat. Its just fun. If you like German food Biergartan is awesome. I would recomend 50s prime time in HS also. I wanted to also do Akershus so my fiance can see the princesses she really loves Belle and Cinderella. I would really recommend Boma. Ive heard alot of great things. Crystal palace looks fun also. I grew up on a lot of winnie the pooh so this seems like a good choice for us also. Shes not a big eater either. Here are our plans below.

Day 1) Arrival: Boma
Day 2) MK: Be Our Guest
Day 3) Epcot: Akershus Banquet Hall
Day 4) AK: Tusker House or Whispering Canyon
Day 5) Epcot: Chef Mickeys
Day 6) HS: 50's Primetime or Sci-fi Drivein
Day 7) MK: Ohana

We are also doing Wolfgang Puck Express and Be our Guest for lunch since they seem to be awesome QS places. Make sure to get a Dole whip in MK or at Poly!
