Dining Plan & GF Afternoon Tea

I hope this isn't a stupid question but DH and I are trying to figure out if the dining plan will be worth it for our 2/07 trip. One thing we love to do is afternoon tea at the Grand Floridian.

I know that the Garden View Lounge is not listed as a "participating" restaurant; has anyone had luck applying dining plan credits to tea??
