Dining plan; do we qualify?

Hi, I am really interested in using the dining plan on our next trip. I would have liked to of used it on our trip last in November but we were a group of 18 and not all members were interested.
We are going in August, just the four of us 2 adults 2 children - 3 and 9. I would love to give it a try but I don’t know if we qualify this time as we booked through Expedia (flight, hotel and car) so it is not technically a package. Oh someone help me; I have done my reading but it is not really sinking in. Can someone explain it to me in plain English!

To qualify you need to be staying "on-site", have park tickets and need to book for the entire duration of your holiday for the entire group. Booking DDP is normally through your tour operator as it is booked as a "package". You may be able to contact Disney direct with your details but I'm not too sure whether they will allow you to do it.

Disney only allow you to book DDP direct with them if you have also booked hotel and tickets direct with them. I have a feeling Expedia do not offer the DDP.

Thanks for that, sorry i forgot to put that we are staying onsite. We have not yet purchased our disney tickets, looking for a good deal!
I thought it was worth asking, perhaps next time!

I dont think Expedia offer it. I think they normally offer every 6th night free insteadd.

would contact disney direct,to see if you are on there system.If not contact expedia for a ref number or what they use to put you into disneys system.Armed with this all you would nead to do is buy at least a 1 days base ticket for each person aprox $70 addult and $60 child cost =$260.00
then cost of ddp Adult $38.99 child $11.99 per day cost $1427.44.
If you are unable to get it and realy want it try canceling room with expedia and book with disney usa direct
