Dining Plan Confusion

I am pretty sure I got ahold of a confused CM this morning- however now I am second guessing myself.
We are arriving on a Friday and Departing on Tuesday. That is 4 nights.
For 4 nights I should get 36 credicts on the DxDP. That is 3 per day for 3 people times 4 nights. (3x3x4=36). I will be able to use my meals starting Friday am. My last meal can be eaten on Tues anytime before midnight. Am I correct?

CM wasn't giving me credits for tues. Was she correct? (She kept telling me I had too many reservations for Fri-tues. ) With my above calculations I have ressies that need 36 credits.

(before anyone tells me to re-think Deluxe for that few # of days- you need to know that we'll actually be on WDW property for 14 days - arriving on the 14th and departing on the 23rd- my ressies are linked and since we're camping we're splitting DDP for part of the stay, and PBJ's the other part

Sounds right to me. 4 Nights should equal 12 credits each. Are you sure you didn't book anything that was 2 credits?

I did, (and have accounted for that) but I felt she wasn't giving me credits for Tues. She kept saying 4 "days" , when I made a comment about my Tues meals she said No- only 4 "days" and told me I needed to cancel some of my ressies if I didn't want to pay OOP. I was pretty sure it was 4 nights, and as I described above- she was nice about it- but sure that I was confused. I just said thank you, let me think about what I wanted to do and headed here

The CM is kind of correct. You technically don't get credits for Tues. Your credits are counted by nights staying, so you get credits for FRI -MON nites. However, you too are correct in calculating 36 credits. Your credits start at check-in and can be used until midnight the day of check-out. As long as you don't use more than the 36 credits during your stay, you should be fine.

Doesn't matter what the CM on the phone says you are getting credits for, when you check in you will receive credits for 4 nights if you are staying 4 nights.

Note the above post. Technically you are receiving credits for MONDAY NIGHT because you only receive credits per night. But all your credits are good until midnight Tuesday, which is the day you are checking out. You had a CM who was more confused than you were.

Bottom line: I get 36 credits and have until midnight tues night to "spend" them all.
