We plan on doing one character meal per day, during our 7 day stay in Oct. 08. Would we be better off getting the Deluxe Dining Package or the Regular Dining package and using credits for them? Or should we pay for them out of pocket? We do still plan on getting a DP even if we pay out of pocket. The logical thing to me would be to get the Deluxe, but I am completely new to this and don't know the best way to do things. We will have one child going and 7 adults.

We are doing the same thing - one character meal a day for our stay and we are going with the Deluxe Plan. I thought about it for awhile and changed my mind several times, but I think it will work for us. We have a few (3) signature meals in there as well.

I just figured with a buffet everyday, we can enjoy a nice sit down, or even counter service if really wanted, too. Some will say it will take up too much of your time, but with the right planning, I think the Deluxe is the way to go. Plus, you get the appetizers and refillable mugs.

I was going back and forth with your same thoughts. Just the DDP and pay OOP for the cheapest or Deluxe. We are going deluxe - it is convenient, too!

Hmmm, I just figured out that the Deluxe Plan for 2008 is $742 more than the Regular Plan. Do you think it will still be worth getting? I don't know how much Character Meals or Dining costs out of pocket.

Edited to add: I didn't realize that Breakfast (or one meal) wasn't included in the regular dining package, so, even though the Deluxe is $742 more, maybe it WOULD be better getting it. Especially if we are doing alot of character meals??
