Dining plan based on resort nights?

I realize this has probably been answered, but I can't find it.

We're staying for 4 nights. I bought 3 day park tickets as part of our package, plus tickets for MNSSHP for our last night. I want to go back and add another night at the resort but not buy an additional day at the park. Do we still get the dining plan for 5 total days/nights since we're at the resort for those days? Basically, I'm asking does it matter how many park tickets we have?

You are correct. It goes by how many nights you are at the resort, has nothing to do with park tickets.

You will need to add another night onto your existing reservation.

Thanks! I added the extra night on and the CM said the same thing.
