Can someone explain to me how this works? Are drinks includes? Are there "snack"options, too? Is it worth the $20.00/day?:rolleyes1:rolleyes1:rolleyes1

The $20 buys you an entree platter and dessert anytime you like, all day, at participating restaurants. You can go back through the lines and get as many entree platters and desserts as you want. There are six or seven participating restaurants and all are inside the parks. All appear to be "fast food" counter service. Looks like it doesn't include drinks, there's apparently a mug deal you can buy separately. No separate snacks. And they don't permit sharing.

The mug is an additional cost and the refills are free all day long. Last time I purchased the mug, it was an additional $8 added to the meal deal. You can get a 1 park or a 2 park meal deal. Last time I got the 2 park, it was an additional $5 which I thought was worth it. That way I didn't have to run back to the other park if I was hungry when park hopping. This deal is only worth it if you plan on staying all day and will eat at least 3 meals. The desserts are nothing fantastic. They are jello, cookie, chocolate cake or a glazed donut type thing. Chocolate cake and the cookie are my fav's..

here is a direct link to Universal's site giving you all the info you need on it.. and an fyi.. it isn't like Disney's dining plan... so they aren't snack options... ;)

I am also interested in more details of this Meal Deal!! Are the lines long? Can you refill the mug at the same counter sevice as the meal deal ? Any info welcome !!

I am also interested in the lines for the meal deal resturants. We are a group of 7 with some picky eaters and wanted to make sure it was worth the money.

Unless you have big eaters in your group, I would not recommend the meal deal. There are only three restaurants in each park accepting the meal deal and all of the food is pretty much the same. There are much better places to try w/o the meal deal.

The lines will vary as they do with any restaurant. If you go during peak time (11am-1pm) the lines will be longest so try to eat at an off peak time if you're worried about lines.
