Dining plan and Food and Wine festival?

I haven't paid much attention previously to the Dining plan since it was not available to DVC. But now that it is, I'm crunching some numbers. I seem to remember seeing signs on the booths last year that you could use snack credits at the F&W festival??? If so, is it 1 credit per snack, and is it good on all items or only certain items? Just food or wine and beer too? Also, could you use a childs snack credit for these things too?

The credits could be used for food items only. Also, at least last year, there has been no differentiation between adult and child credits.
