DIning package question about sushi DH is getting the dining package and we have so many table service meals we want we are having to be choosy. I really want to eat Sushi in Japan in Epcot. Is there a place to get counter serving sushi in Japan?

At the CS resturant in Japan in the World Showcase they have a very limited choice of maki rolls. Only like three or four. They also serve Udon noodles and several other dishes. Depends entirely on how much and what type sushi you want to get.

You can also get sushi at Wolfgang Pucks in DTD and at the California Grill. I don't know what you can get on the Dinning Plan but if you really want sushi those are two other options you could try.

Tempura Kiko in Japan does have some sushi, but not a wide selection.

We had sushi as an appetizer at the California Grill last week. A great selection, nicely presented, and there were several other tables around us with sushi. The dining plan covers it, too.

"They" say the best sushi on property is at Kimono's at the Swan. Here's a link to their menu:

BUT - it's not on the dining plan; it'd be an out of pocket expense.

IF you are looking for a CS restaurant, Yakitori House has a Tokyo Roll. It is basically a California Roll. I don't know if I would recommend it, it was just OK.
