Can anyone tell me what the dining options are like at Sheraton Safari, both in and around the hotel?
Also-has anyone used their complimentary shuttle service to the outlets? TIA!

I've never eaten inside th hotel, but there are lots of restaurants around there - Olive Garden, Denny's, Orlando Ale House, IHOP, Macaroni Grill, Unos, Perkins... This is all I can think of off the top of my head.

Enjoy!! :goodvibes

Unos is a bit of a walk, down to the crossroads shopping center.

besides what travelin tigger posted (ALL within EASY walking distance), there is also a Shoney's (great for a breakfast buffet) and in the shopping center to the back left of the hotel is also a NY bagel shop and a chinese food buffet. there was a Tony Romas also but I believe it has closed down. right smack next door to the hotel, practically in the same parking lot is a Pizza Hut dine in & take out.

Inside the hotel is a restaurant called Casablancas, we stopped in intending to eat dinner, was seated by the host at a table & was not even greeted by a waiter for at least 20 minutes (& NO they were NOT busy at all!). The menu stated there was a mandatory service fee (like a room service fee) the prices werent that great so we left. I received 4 free breakfast buffet coupons (due to a room service issue) & we went for breakfast & was not really that impressed with the quality of the food. Shoneys is much better. I say forget the restaurant inside the hotel & use the ones across the street.

Joe's Crab Shack is across the street, next to Macaroni Grill. It has a playground, so it's great if you have kids! Golden Corral is nearby, though not really in easy walking distance. NY China Buffet and Steak n Shake are in the plaza next to the Sheraton. Also, there's a Mexican restaurant with faitly nice decor - can't really comment on the food. But they had $1.50 frozen margaritas when I was there a month ago!
