Dining on the Panama Canal cruise

Would anyone have the dining information for the 14 day EB Panama Canal cruise or tell me where I can find it on the web? I'd like to know the menus and the rotation. Thanks for any help!

Unfortunately, you may only be able to get information as to what the rotations/menus were for past PC cruises. All that isn't really set until your cruise actually begins.

On our WBPC the rotations were just repeating... TAPTAPTAPTAPTA was ours.

You can find a lot of information in the Personal Navigators of previous EBPC sailings, however those are nog a guarantee that you cruise will follow the same setup.

Does anyone have a suggestion for a good Palo night? Is any menu repeated?

No menus are repeated. Our least favorite menu is Pirate Night, so I would suggest that night. On a 2-wk cruise some passengers eat dinner at Palo at least twice. They can only make one dinner reservation before the cruise, but after everyone has the opportunity to make dinner reservations, you can check back and find out when Palo has other openings. You can ask your MDR waiter which night is which (we had 2 lobster nights) so you won't miss your favorite menu.

You can book one reservation of each type (brunch and dinner) pre-cruise. Once onboard, you can see if there is additional availability.

No menu is repeated. Every night is a different menu. There are still the classic menus lie Golden Mickey's, Captain Gala etc. There are some other menu that you only get on longer cruise like Taste of California and Flavors of the World to name a few.

While every night is a "different" menu, I did find some items that were re-purposed or re-imagined for a second time. Look at the appetizers, it made me laugh, different names for the same thing, but in a different shape! Oh, and don't believe it if they say they have a flavored creme brule, it will be vanilla.

We did Palo a few times and we scheduled the brunch during the transit day. That was a wonderful experience! They keep the deck clear outside of Palo so if you reserve it, you get a great view, imho. We timed ours so that we were not going through the actual lockes at the time. You will LOVE this cruise, it is amazing.

Oh, yeah, I'm not saying it wasn't good, just agreeing that the actual brûlée was a plain vanilla flavor.

Yes, it is still good, I just expected chocolate Crème brûlée to be chocolate, not vanilla with a piece of chocolate on top. Or coffee to be coffee flavored. But it was always vanilla. It was ok, our server just brought me a mickey bar. Those are always good and as advertised. Lol.
