We are planning a christmas trip and I am having trouble trying to figure out a good place to have christmas dinner. We will be in HS that day and will have cars so leaving is ok. Any suggestions??

We'll be dining at Yak and Yeti for lunch and 'Ohana for dinner on 12/25!

'Ohana is our family's favorite restaurant, so we're looking forward to our faves for Christmas Dinner.

We'll get our fill of Turkey/Mashed Taters/Green Bean casserole over Thanksgiving. We are fine with a non-traditional Xmas dinner :).

We spent Christmas 2009 in WDW ... had a wonderful lunch at Rose & Crown and a FANTASTIC dinner at Il Mulino in the Swan. We had never been to Il Mulino and really wanted to try it but always having the dining plan we didn't think it would happen. Mom gave us extra cash for Christmas so we could have dinner on her and voila! Il Mulino! :goodvibes

Is a traditional Christmas dinner important to you? If so the Whispering Canyon Cafe at Wilderness Lodge is a great place to enjoy a superb Christmas dinner.

We are having a late breakfast at Chef Mickey's and then dinner at the Captain's Grill. We're hoping to stroll the Boardwalk and then head into Epcot for an eveing stroll around the World.

They picked:

Christmas Eve: 1900 PF
Christmas breakfast: 'Ohana
Christmas dinner: Chef Mickey's

All were wonderful!! :santa:

Yes it is, after doing some more research I found out that several restaurants do a special menu. Though I have no idea what is on it or how much it is. I called disney and they said it wasn't out yet

do you remember how much it was?

We purchased the dining plan but I figure that it was around $32.95 which included the holiday surcharge. It is a very good meal as you have turkey with all the trimmings and we had ham also last year. Other years we have had broiled trout as the second meat. Yule log is the dessert. The waiters are a lot tamer for Christmas day than normal

We are having an afternoon tea at the Gardenview Tea Room and then a huge dinner at California Grill during Wishes!! :cloud9:

We are going to be at 1900 Park Fare. It's the only character meal we are doing and I'm trying to avoid the crowds at the park...at least for this time day!

LTT is where we are eating on Christmas day since they have the traditional turkey and I just love the old fashioned atmosphere for a Christmas meal. We are eating there for lunch and The Plaza for dinner. But I'm nuts and will be in MK Christmas day. :scared1:
But, since you're gonna be at DHS how about 50's Prime Time? They have great food! Or a bit fancier option would be Hollywood Brown Derby.
